• REX rents the vehicle to the customers and co-drivers (hereafter called “the renter”) in accordance
with the Rental Agreement terms and conditions, which have been accepted by the renter upon signature.
• The rental period is calculated in days and hours and this contract may not exceed a period of 30 days. Hereafter the contract
must be renewed.
• The vehicle must be returned at the agreed date, time and place. Alterations may result in changes the rental charges.
• Renter must inform REX if he is unable to return the vehicle at the agreed time and place. REX is entitled to demand full
compensation for any loss or expense, cause by failure to do so.
• REX has taken every precaution to avoid faults in the vehicle. REX can not be held responsible for any fault that should
occur or show up, nor for any consequences resulting from them.
• REX can not be held responsible for lost or forgotten objects, which are left, stored in or stolen from the vehicle.
• The renter shall not make any changes in the structure, form or decoration to the interior or exterior of the vehicle.
Maintenance and repair of the vehicle must only be done by REX, or by a workshop/garage authorized by REX to do so.
• REX is the owner of the vehicle, and the renter must return it upon demand.

• Terms of payment are prepayment, net cash and in local currency CUC.
• REX shall conclusively determine any currency conversion. REX reserves the right to charge interest on all overdue payments.
• If payment is made by credit card, the signature of the renter on the original copy of the rental agreement and on the credit card slip shall constitute authority for REX to debit the total amount of the rental on his credit card. When the customer request to pay with Credit Card, REX will charge the credit card the amount listed on the RA in USD according to the official exchange rate listed by the Cuban Central Bank (BCC).

For an additional daily charge REX offers a SUPER CDW coverage that reduces or eliminates the customers self risk in case of an accident. Customer have to accept this coverage for renting the car.
Super CDW
The Super CDW is an special package REX offers to eliminate the self risk to 0 CUC, according to rental terms written on the rental agreement. If any violation of rental terms occurs, the customer will pay the full damage amount.
Conditions:
- The renter will pay the full damage amount if the car is used:
- To transport persons or goods in a lucrative way.
- To tow or move another vehicle or trailer without the acceptance of REX.
- To participate in any motor sport or in a racing manner.
- By anyone not listed as driver or co-driver on the contract.
- To transport flammable materials or explosive.
- For criminal purposes.
- Under the influence of alcohol, narcotics, medicine, etc.
- Renter must pay to REX:
- Rental charges shown in the Rental Agreement.
- For the damages caused due to the use of incorrect fuel.
- All extra charges including Super CDW, fuel, delivery and collection fees, penalties,etc.
- Any cost including full value of the vehicle and other damages incurred under the effects of alcohol, narcotics, medicine, etc.
- A penalty of 50.00 CUC if the customer looses his copy of the rental agreement or returns the car in bad cleaning conditions.
- All traffic fines written by the police in his copy of the contract.
- The cost of damaged tires and wheels.
- Assistance costs in case of customer responsibility.
- In case of accident or theft, the renter must:
- Immediately notify the police.
- Fill in a complete damage report and notify REX.
- Make provisions for safeguarding the vehicle for further damage.
- When driving with a REX chauffeur, renter is not responsible for accidents or damages to the car, and terms about Super CDW does not apply.
